Privacy Policy

This site doesn’t set cookies and doesn’t run analytics or ad trackers. The only personal information we ask for is what you choose to send us.

1. Who we are and what this covers

This policy covers andstudio.nyc (the “site”). The site is run by IMA Studio, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company doing business as AND Studio and based in New York, New York. “We” and “us” mean IMA Studio, LLC.

It explains what information is collected when you visit the site or contact us through it. It doesn’t cover the work we do for clients or with creators. That’s handled under our agreements with them.

2. What we collect and how

The contact form. If you fill in the form, we get what you enter. The form asks for your brand, its website, what you sell, a monthly revenue range, a monthly ad spend range, where you sell, what you want help with, your name, your work email and an optional note. The form runs on Netlify Forms. Netlify stores each submission, checks it for spam using a filtering service called Akismet and emails it to our team. Along with your answers, Netlify records technical details of the submission, such as your IP address and browser type, and uses them for the spam check.

Email. If you email us, we get your address and whatever you write.

Server logs. The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify automatically logs basic technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, the date and time, the page requested and your browser type.

Files from other providers. Pages on the site load fonts from Google Fonts. The home page also loads open-source graphics code from cdnjs (run by Cloudflare) and jsDelivr. Your browser fetches those files directly from those providers, so they receive your IP address and basic browser details, as they do for any website that uses them. That information doesn’t come to us.

Cookies and tracking. The site doesn’t set cookies. We don’t run analytics, advertising pixels or other tracking tools on it, and we don’t track you across other websites. Since there’s no tracking to turn off, the site works the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.

3. What we use it for

We use what you send to reply to you and to work out whether we could work together and how. To do that we may also look at public information about your brand, such as its website and its ads. If we do start working together, what you sent becomes part of our records for that relationship.

Server logs are used to deliver the site and keep it secure. We don’t use them to identify visitors.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the site and our business. Today those are Netlify, which hosts the site and stores and forwards form submissions, Akismet, which Netlify uses to filter spam, and the providers of our email and internal business software. They handle it on our behalf.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or to a successor if our business is sold or reorganized.

We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their advertising.

5. How long we keep it

We keep form submissions and the emails that follow for as long as we’re in conversation with you about working together. After that we keep them only as long as we have a business or legal reason to. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Netlify and the other providers named in this policy keep their own logs on their own schedules. Their privacy policies explain how. Here are the policies for Netlify, Akismet, Google, Cloudflare and jsDelivr.

6. Your choices and rights

You don’t have to use the form. You can email us and share only what you want to.

Wherever you live, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email michael@andstudio.nyc from the address you used with us, so we can confirm the request is yours. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it. We won’t treat you any differently for asking.

California residents. We don’t sell personal information and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. California law gives residents the right to know, correct and delete personal information held by the businesses that law covers. We take those requests from anyone, as described above.

Visitors from the EU or UK. We’re based in the United States. What you send us is processed here and in other places our providers operate. We use it because you asked us to respond and because we have a legitimate interest in answering business inquiries. You can ask for access, correction or deletion, or object to how we use your information, by emailing us. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Children

The site is for businesses and isn’t directed to children. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we’ll delete it.

8. Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection. We rely on established providers to host it and to store what you send, and we limit access to the people on our team who need it. No website or email system is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee security. Please don’t put passwords, payment details or other sensitive information in the form.

9. Changes

If the site or the way we handle information changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.

10. Contact

Questions and requests go to michael@andstudio.nyc.
